just got back from my career once again + i’m finally on the road to doin’ design as a full-time consultant … which means, on some days durin’ the week i’ll be workin’ remote from some of your favourite coffeeShops + cafés in The Greater Boston Area { that’s the GBA ta you } … Flat Jack’s, The Javaroom, Brew’d Awakening, Bohemian, The Coffee Mill, Zumi’s and one of many area Starbucks { yes, its true, I sometimes get my hot lovin’ brew direct from The Man ;] }

i’ve stationed myself at The Javaroom in Chelmsford this morning for a bit of remote Monster work … i find that i am more productive when the space is open, the iPod stream is playing outloud { well, music playing at The Javaroom is more like listening to someone’s cool iPod collection than the typical piped in + canned stuff you get at a Starbucks or Panera or something }, and the people are coming + going … a sort of real-life flow that you can’t get in an office environment { especially w/ cube involvement + such } … i also need to see the natural sunlight streaming in

i have a decent set up in the office … view of the pond … and i am right next to a gigantic window … fantastic neighbors in my little cube neighborhood … but nice to have a change of pace … + the Friday of Memorial Day weekend just might be the perfect excuse ;]
