aight … so … right now i am enjoying some pre-snow-removal coffee @ home w/ Maceo … we played w/ a little Doozla for a bit on my MacBook Pro { he seemed to love it } + i have a nice big mugful of coffee sitting right here on the black cube in my living room next to me { pristine off-white mug courtesy Panera Bread … tak } …

gearing up a bit this morning for The ALL Gallery Impromptu Open Mike + ‘Take Over’ { check here for details, aight? } … goin’ down tomorrow from noon to 4 … c’mon down, aight? but anyhow … sending out last minute invites and such … drinking a nice big cup of coffee … i still use sugar, straight up, but i’m now a lowfat creamora kind of guy vs half ‘n’ half from years past … not doing much for my figure, but every bit counts, right? …

at work, its the Flavia machine, which isn’t all that bad, it makes ‘cappuccino’ + whatnot, but not the best either, not the best … Carol + i have this old coffee maker that you can steam milk with, so i am thinking of bringing this to Monster w/ me early next week to really start up some caffeinated insanity … anything to keep Jesse + i goin’ w/ the old coffee club … i think we’re both pretty hardcore …

more soon … exit, stage right …

aight … snowy out there today … it was coming down at a fast clip earlier, + the old snowblower is acting up again … i’ll go out again in a bit w/ some hot water to let things loose a bit … but …

working from home today … New Year’s Eve day … or at least i am very likely going to work from home for half the day … i’m sure it will be a bit of a nightmare going into the office on 495, so … uhm … screw that, eh? :::…

Guatemala Casi Cielothe coffee today is an early morning pot of Guatemala Casi Cielo … Rich & Elegant … + it’s living up to the name from what i can tell … sort of tastes like any other coffee you get at the Starbucks … i’m a bit less of a Starbucks fan lately, if you couldn’t tell … i prefer stronger coffees, like those you might associate w/ Starbucks { vs. Dunkin’ Donuts }, but i am still somewhat dissatisfied w/ the general taste … i’m sensing this muddy afternote hidden behind the moniker of ’something European’ in name … i believe ‘Casi Cielo’ would loosely translate to ‘Skyhouse’ in English … not as grandiose sounding, eh? … “I’ll have a venti Casi Cielo per favore” as opposed to “give me a lahge skyhouse, would’ya?” … i guess i’m having that little voice of doubt + reason come to the party here … the same one that, while watching a foreign film occasionally wonders, “is this really a good film? i mean, to European filmmakers just think on such a deeper level? or does the fact that i have to read the subtitles make this all SEEM so much more sophisticated? what’s the deal?” …

in the case of Guatemala Casi Cielo, i’d say the little voice hits it on the head … nothing super special here … just another strong Starbucks coffee w/ supposed benefits back to the world { although i don’t see this indicated on the sack of beans, so maybe at this point i am assuming through associative learning via Seattle headquarters or something? } …

well, enough for now on that … its a bit snowy today … i’m drinking my coffee on the red porn sofa at home today, which makes the coffee taste that much better anyways … so, back to work for me … + Happy New Year to you alL … cya! :::…
